Dr. Eulanda A. Sanders is currently the chair of the Department of Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Management at Iowa State University. She also serves as the Donna R. Danielson Professor of Textiles and Clothing in Apparel, Merchandising and Design. She has taught fashion and textile design at the university level for 27 years specializing in: flat-pattern, CAD pattern making, illustration, line development, textile design (repeat prints), engineered prints, crocheting, knitting, felting, bead embroidery, quilting, and various fiber art techniques, computer aided design, product development (soft lines/soft goods), and website development.
Dr. Sanders’ scholarship program is focused on 4 areas:
(a) Creative scholarship,
(b) Symbolic Meanings of Black Appearance, and
(c) Material Culture Products of Blacks.
