Obsidian is an organization that supports the academic and social advancement of students at Parsons School of Design who identify as members of the African Diaspora. By providing a community that fosters professional dialog and collaborative opportunities, Obsidian actively promotes the cultural interests and concerns of black students and alumni. We ultimately create a platform for the promotion of black scholarship and creativity in architecture, interior design, graphic design, visual arts, fashion, photography, and music at Parsons and beyond.
